Type Locality and Naming

Along the Kyzylarcha River, Fergana. U.M. Rasulov, G. Fathullaev, S.D. Morozov et al., 1991. The term is not used.

Lithology and Thickness

Green, gray-green, dark-green montmorillonite clays. Thickness 1-20 m.

Lower contact

It lies conformably on the Auval Fm

Upper contact

It is conformably overlain by the Rishtan Fm

Regional extent

Fergana Depression. It corresponds to the upper part of the Turkestan Fm (layers with Fatina esterhazyi gamma Pav.) (160).
